This is either 130 or 150 kg.Probably 150.Thats a decent deadlift for me now,lol.
"And in those simple beautiful movements I remembered what was really important in training; that consistency trumps intensity; all the time. That intensity is born from consistency. That one cannot force it, one has to lay in wait for it, patiently, instinctively, calmly and be ready to grab it when Grace lays it down in front of you."

Oof. Wow.
That shoulder felxibility and stability AMAZES me.
I mean 330 overhead and BEHIND the head. unreal.
he' supporting the load across the upper and middle back, thats why the big lean forward.anyway you cut it, of course, thats one incredibly heavy weight to hold(much less get to) overhead.
and yes the flexibility, across the board is unreal. like SUPER strong gymnasts.they do a lot of static stretching which goes against the current thinking that static stretching makes the muscle weaker.
Rif this kind OT but squatting kinda nailed my shoulder hard monday. Would it be better to do SQ and GM with a cambered bar most of the time while (working on fexibility) then switch to a straight bar shortly before a comp to get the groove right.
If so would a WSB cambered bar be better than IM's buffalo bar?
sorry "while" was supposed to be in paranthases.
People's Republic of China can be a good market for RKC?
Or do they have one already?
royce, I wouldnt push the weight on the squat til you could get a decent position with a power bar.More stretching ;)
how wide are your arms on the bar? can yo upost a pic of your position? havent used the wsb cambered bar and the ironmind bar is comfy but has a TOTALLY different groove. works ok for special exercises but NOT for competition groove work.
also the now have a longer power bar called a squat bar( check elite systems) that makes it easier for you big guys to squeeze under it. BUT the IPF SUpers have very flexibile shoulders(they use the Olympic high bar rack position though) and have no trouble getting under a regulation power bar.
takei,
dont know about that but perhaps.they do not have one as far as I know.
Cool, hold on I'll post a pic.
Pics are up on my blog.
130kg. Cool, huh?
