"And in those simple beautiful movements I remembered what was really important in training; that consistency trumps intensity; all the time. That intensity is born from consistency. That one cannot force it, one has to lay in wait for it, patiently, instinctively, calmly and be ready to grab it when Grace lays it down in front of you."

Wow, that is awesome.
I'll toot my own harm. A couple of years ago Josh Henkin and I each successfully completedd a TGU with a 95lb dumbbell once on the right, once on the left. But that's a far cry from doing the BEAST!
toot my own HORN - sorry for the mispelling :)
I don't know franz, somehow I feel a db would be much harder than a kb. higher center of gravity.either way well done and I bet you could do the beast as well.
Hey Master Rif and Franz.
Thanks a lot for the nice comments.
I find it most easy to do the TGU with the Kettlebell, but I also think that it's about what piece of equipment you train with.
Stay tough :-D
best regards,
Jacob
Holy cow I have trouble doing that with a 16kg bell. Good grief.
Hey Christine.
Where is the critical part for you in the TGU.
For most it is in the beginning. In case, make sure to rotate to the left when you hold the kettlebell in the right, and push with the right foot. This should help create some momentum.
:-D
