"And in those simple beautiful movements I remembered what was really important in training; that consistency trumps intensity; all the time. That intensity is born from consistency. That one cannot force it, one has to lay in wait for it, patiently, instinctively, calmly and be ready to grab it when Grace lays it down in front of you."

That film clip was incredible, the whole thing, and I mean the whole clip.
Cotters mind-bending pistol jumps, Gregor (?) snatching in a wheelchair.

Yeah, that's pretty sweet. One day that could be me. I need a pull up bar, that's for sure. I'd love to tame the beast. I just need practice. Do they allow chin-ups to tame it as one guy tried?
Regardless, I want to and will become an RKC at some point. Maybe when I get off FTO or probation once I'm in a department.
Thanks,
Dymmel
dont think so tim.dont know why he was doing chins. yes you should get RKC when you can, you'll love it.
Dymmel,
Yes, you probably want to pass FTO first! That will be difficult enough, and a total learning experience.
Rif,
I am so stoked by that clip, I have been watching it at least 3x a day. It is helping me get my mind focused on April 2007 RKC. Will you be there?
Pete
Pete,
yes I agree. nothing like motivating images to get things going and yes I will be teaching in April.excellent!
Excellent! I will be there in April to assist, and I am expecting for the instructors to participate in the Bear Crawl test!
BTW, how do you post video on the blog? I just edited a windows movie maker 6 minute film about academy PT for an IT class I finished today. In the clip, I have my recruits using kettlebells, sledgehammers, etc. I would love to share it with y'all.
