More on sport/obsession (too long): Kettlebells, Strength, Fitness, Martial Arts
A rant by Rif.
"And in those simple beautiful movements I remembered what was really important in training; that consistency trumps intensity; all the time. That intensity is born from consistency. That one cannot force it, one has to lay in wait for it, patiently, instinctively, calmly and be ready to grab it when Grace lays it down in front of you."

Vivid reality. Lots of guys our age can barely walk, are out of shape, and look ten years older. These are the athletes. Hard seeing someone who teased me about being clean living and fit most of my life. They chose mass quantities of consumables, booze, and drugs. Payback is a bitch.

yeah but they never did what we did, or still can do. and they have to still inhabit their disgusting mainframes. I would rather have climbed the geights and seen what I have seen that never gotten off the floor and be perfectly safe/whole. We all gonna die anyway.
