"And in those simple beautiful movements I remembered what was really important in training; that consistency trumps intensity; all the time. That intensity is born from consistency. That one cannot force it, one has to lay in wait for it, patiently, instinctively, calmly and be ready to grab it when Grace lays it down in front of you."

Cool videos. You should do that sort of thing more often. I had no idea what a high pull with a kettlebell looked like!
thanks brett, I will get the camera out more often.
Rif, I haven't gone anywhere, life is just seriously hectic right now and I get very sporadic access to the internet at the moment.
But dude seriously this is one of the most informative posts I have seen in a LONG time.
I was doing high pulls with the KB floating right in front of my chin, maybe actually a "low pull". LOL.
I have been frustrated as to how the high pull would translate into a snatch, how it would segway into one.
Of course it was not a problem with the excersize just my knowledge of it.
Thank you VERY much for posting this!!!!

royce glad you are ok. thanks and glad it helped. there are many ways to skin a cat and low pulls definitely have their uses as well.but for me this is the best snatch assist I have found, call it whatever you like.
If I can just swing it like I do the high pull before I snatch it I get so much more power. I didnt know the bell was that high til I saw the video!
