A Goal achieved

As soon as I knew there was such a thing as a Senior Kettlebell Instructor Corp I knew I wanted to be among them. That dream was reached this weekend as Pavel named me as the newest Senior RKC Instructor. I lead a twelve person team all weekend through the certification process, designed and lead two tough workouts and got the full team leader experience. It was surreal to be with teaching and consulting with Pavel, Steve Maxwell, Steve Cotter, Brett Jones and Andrea DuCane.

My team was an amazing collection of great athletes and incredible regular people who just loved kbs and want to teach others how to do them. My assistants Doug and Sarah were just perfect as was pretty much the whole weekend. I just wish I had done the crucible with Steve Maxwell at the end as it would have been a perfect ending to my new appointment. I will do this at the next one to make up for it.

It was nonstop all weekend and my knee held up surprisingly well. My new gait technique served me well also.I only ate one meal a day and had tons of energy as well. It also brough my bodyfat to 9.3 % just now at the end of the day at 163.8lbs. I am so psyched I can't beleive it!

Way to go, Rif!

Very Cool.

What kind of benefits does that come with?

When does the Rifstonian line of signature kb's come out?

Maybe when I get time to get to the RKC you'll be my guide.

Congratulations - good to have you aboard Rif! I am looking so much forward to seeing you here at one of our European certs. As for the crucible, let's lead by example and make it a tradition for instructors to do the Grad workout along with the students.

Go hard!

Yup, Rif was AWESOME! He has a phenomenal grasp of the fine details of KB lifting. He smoked the students with a high pull ladder and led the pack.

It was great hanging with you this past weekend, Rif. Hope to do it again in April.

Wow, so all Californians are not eating Granola, playing with Crackberries, and listening to Al Franken!
At last some real men in that state!
Continue the testosterone drenched work.

people, I cannot tell you how incredible it is to hear these words from those I respect and admire as much as I do all of you.

This whole kettlebell experience has been one of the most incredible journeys I have ever been on and I have been through a few!
But the level of intellect, energy, passion, intensity and sheer intensity of all of those in this kb community is something else!
I learn from you all everyday and I cant think of a better compliment than that.
