Rif,

That's a posting series from 2003. Funny how things always stay the same.

I had to post my 2 cents since Glassman doesn't even use his own protocols. He's carrying a few on the tummy. Some example for what he's selling.

I'm glad I found it because I always wondered what siff would say about xfit. I understand couch can't do his own workouts but he surely could do SOMETHING, which it doenst look like he does.

You gotta lead from the front baby.Siff took him apart almost as badly as he did Chek!

Very cool interaction between Dr. Siff and Glassman. I don't think Crossfit is all bad, though, nor do I obviously think it is the bomb. I like some of the basic workouts like the Cindy, but some are way too intense for my CNS.

Sorry I haven't been posting Rif. You are in my thoughts however! :)

Pete, good to see youpost again brother.I have no problem with the basic crossfit template except that it tries to make itself the ultimate in "fitness" which it is not.Dr Siff countered all those claims of Glassman in a way that no one has could or has since.
amazing it has been ignored so thoroughly.

Siff was the ultimate CRITICAL thinker, which I like. I think he comes across rather arrogant and "smarther" than everyone but that isn't who he was. My brother spent some time with him at this house in Colorado a couple of times and got to know the man. He was truly a renaissance man and we are all indebted to him for his work.

What a freaking great day! This is without a doubt the best group of heavy reps I have ever done! Every set was just about perfect. Plus I ...
