"And in those simple beautiful movements I remembered what was really important in training; that consistency trumps intensity; all the time. That intensity is born from consistency. That one cannot force it, one has to lay in wait for it, patiently, instinctively, calmly and be ready to grab it when Grace lays it down in front of you."

No shit!!
Damn! Well...Guns!! Good work!
Rif, I can see that Tracy like the fast pace stuff. I've added power lifting into my workouts mid week. Last week I did this
135# DL 5 reps
Stict Press 60# 5 reps
Six rounds for time.
I really found it empowering.
Not to mention it was fun!

Tracy is gifted in the arm department... I am stuck with pipe cleaners, even with all my pull-up work.
Jen, thats great stuff.be careful with your lower back with timed dl workouts though.
fawn,
that's the thing; tracy ISNT gifted in the arm dept. she never had any arms at all before. freaky.
Impressive x 10!
haha that's so funny! People always ask me how my arms are so (insert hand gesture for "big & strong"). I just have to shake my head...kettlebells! and NO isolation "exercises."
oh yeah, don't you mean, "Datsa bicep"? ;)
The thing Tracy always talked about when she talked about getting back in shape was getting arms. The real irony is that with all the bodybuilding she did back in the day she never had arms like this, doing no direct biceps work at all.Thats a bicep. kettlebell workshop
