Strong is strong.

No matter what form it takes. How cool is this stuff?
Think these guys are worried about the tension in their faces at the sticking point of each lift?

Sweet! I'll be attending my first USAW workshop this coming weekend. I'm looking forward to learning these lifts.

good for you Howie, there is much to be learned from the practice of Olympic lifting.let me know how it goes.
I had the honor and privilege of spending nine years around some of the best olympic lifters in the county and from around the world when Tracy and I owned World Gym Campbell. For 10 year previous it had been IronWorks gym, the oldest gym in San Jose and home to many great OL powerlifters and throwers( including Gold medal decathalete Bruce Jenner, World Champion discus thrower Ben Plunknett and Five time Highland Games world Champion Jim McGoldrick).

watching these guys train was amazing.

Damn Rif, that's some serious lifting! And here all I'm interested at the moment is finding an inexpensive set of bumper plates! =)

I'll be sure to let you know how I survive the weekend.
