Wow. This is one strong 21 year old.

Unbelievably strong and technically perfect lifts. ANd ,being Swedish he is probably drug free as well( they have an incredible random, year round, out of meet testing program). But man the modern bench shirt has ruined that lift for me. I can't even watch them anymore.

Watch this!

It must have something to do with his first name ... Magnus ...

Seriously, great at all lifts. If he stays injury free he could be a star

WOW - His squats were well...his bench well...his DL well...What do you say when you see a performance like that?
Squats were great - quick to the top - that is acceleration!
DL - I had to break out the calculator and double check the weight because 728 should not move that fast! He has quite a lean back at the top but again the acceleration and speed are amazing.
Thanks for posting Rif

brett,

I know. I can't believe it myself. Especially in IPF. amazing at any age but at 21!?!

and that 391 kg( 860!) was better than the second attempt!and people say speed doesnt matter in the powerlifts.when it moves fast, its light.

yeah, he must have been one very strong 15 year old.coan squatted 500, weighing 150 lbs in his first meet where they had to carry the bar out to him and place it on his back as he was too short to unrack it off the lowest jack stand setting.which is really low.
the greats are born that way, some use it some don't.

That is beyond amazing! His movement is so smooth, so effortless. Where did this guy get that kind of strength. Obviously he is on a different level.

This is motivating!

franz,

I believe guys like that come out of the womb with that strength.when they put disciplined training on top of that talent you have guys like that, and Coan.

Simply amazing! Love the music too.

190 x 1 x 12, 210/225 static holds, 24 kg goblet squats, floor pushups 30, 20

This went VERY well almost all reps identical. Realized I get better drive AND minimize shoulder stress if I unrack it with more weight on ...
