It went well today and I wore my old Magnum Stealth 6" combat boots and had no problems with shin at all. I don't remember ever having problems with them but I thought that I can no longer wear hi tops but I guess that's not true. Legs felt loose, lungs felt fine, only a little leg fatigue more than half way through from the heavy swings yesterday
