Strong and fast ruck

Rucked with Tracy today, and she's been walking about 10 miles every day and it showed! She's faster now than ever and it pushed me. Felt good, especially for a Thursday ruck and we had a very steady pace the entire hour

45 lb ruck
6 laps
55 min
 last lap= 7:40!

and most of the other laps were not that much slower, if at all!

Legs felt heavy and tired at first but loosened up quickly

BW 167. 2

stopping creatine for awhile. looks like something has shifted since I turned 60. Freakin' something happens every 5 years! Have to figure this out

Mark, just curious why you're laying off creatine? What, I assume negative, effects are you experiencing?

Tony I am stopping the creatine for awhile to see if it has any effect on my bodyweight. I've cleaned up my diet considerably and my BW kept going up! It could be just a metabolic shift as I turn 60 but it seems it all started when I shifted my diet back to more red meat AND creatine.
Just an experiment, we'll see
I feel good on it otherwise.

Gotcha. Thanks for the reply Mark. I was just curious because I definitely feel "fuller" across my entire body when doing creatine. I do like the effect it has on my muscular endurance though, even when bicycling. I'm almost 58 (argh). Anyway, thanks for sharing your recent experience though.

yea I'm not sure that it will make a difference. I stopped using it a few months ago for a few weeks too and it didn't make any difference in my weight. I do like what it does to my endurance as well as my muscle mass but I do feel like it gets me TOO pumped up,lol. these days I want to be lighter not bigger, even though you wouldn't know it from how I train :)

155 x 3 x 5, 160 x 3 x 5, 20 kg swings 5 x 8/8, floor pushups 40, 35

Thought about going back to 5x5 for a hot second then my left shoulder  reminded me why I stopped doing them before. It doesn't seem to...
