Ruck on.

After yesterday's 8 hour teaching/demo workshop ( which
went great) I was planning on doing my normal press workout but then Tracy wanted to ruck and I thought since I had to sacrifice a press workout or my sunday ruck I decided I would rather ruck it.

But I also through in 100 pushups after wards to keep the upper body engaged.
Just an hour with a lightened pack but it was hot as hell out and the perfect session

Ruck
47 lb ruck
6 laps
51 minutes ! ( PR)
last lap at 8:00

don't know how we went so fast, didn't seem so at the time but it felt great. I so love and appreciated being able to walk strong again. It's really a miracle for me and I'll never ever forget that.

Floor pushups
5 sets of 20

100 reps!

last set was hard in that the left shoulder started clunking but I really wanted to finish the five sets so I went through. Not that smart but it seems fine now.

Rif,

its great to see your progess actually.

Here is a thing that probably picks your interest: german seals, kampfschwimmer.

The movie is in german, but the exercises are for all. :-)

thanks Lars, I was just talking about getting swimming back in my schedule. I grew up in the water and love to swim. not enough time yet but it'll get in there

I'm sure the "company" you had with you made the time go really fast!! Whenever I hike with the hubs, the minutes just fly by!!
I'm starting to look at some backpacks lately.....would really like to do this during the winter, in the snow, on snowshoes!!

thanks Diana yes Tracy does help the time go by faster, and nicer :)

More press mistakes from today

 1) Gotta engage the rhomboids when setting the low rack position.Lock in 2) Elbows up is crucial 3) 'Straight  up' on the unracking...
