"And in those simple beautiful movements I remembered what was really important in training; that consistency trumps intensity; all the time. That intensity is born from consistency. That one cannot force it, one has to lay in wait for it, patiently, instinctively, calmly and be ready to grab it when Grace lays it down in front of you."

I say it Sir ;) but thats because i need to have more mobility =) i am practice to get it so soon i will be saying it to (that we can)
well Joakim I can't either, yet, BUT I can squat deeper than ever, with no pain with this foot orientation.
I've also reclaimed 20 degree of ROM in a knee that hasn't bent more than 85 deg in twenty years with just 4 weeks of mobility work with this drill! good enough for me!
Excellent Chef you are an inspiration for all of us who are on the path back to normal mobility =)
Since you showed me the Youtube page i am working hard to gain mobility and i will succeed =)
good man Joakim. me too. I love this stuff!
I'm with you Riff. Playing with KStarr's stuff, I have found my hips, especially internal rotators, to be so tight. This is what has been limiting my squat and causing me to turn out the feet. Like you, I am on a heavy diet of mobility work. Someday, I will squat with straight forward feet!!!
matt, I can't believe how much his stuff is helping me and FAST. I am working on my foot forward squat pattern and have regained 15 degrees + of ROM after 20 years with a knee that would't bend more than 85 deg and an ankle stuck at -5 deg dorsiflexion!
really understanding the relationships of all the bones, how to align them, the crucialness of torque and where to direct the squat pattern has changed almost everything overnight!
there is just so much material to study, lol!
