Igor is a seriously bad ass dude, great lifter. I hope to be able to make it out to Russia next year and hopefully meet him in person.

I agree 100 percent. amazing athlete on many levels.I love his videos teaching in english. Man, I can't imagine trying to learn Russian and teach in it similtaneously.

nice guy too,he contacted me to see if I was interested in gs coaching. If I could do gs it would be a great experience I'm sure.

and oh yea, going out to Russia to train gs would be like Nei Ti Di in Japan to train gymnastics; ( japanese PE school were all the best gymnasts go, or went, lol, when they crushed the Olympics in '72))

I have studie 2 course under Ginko (7 WC) and 2 times under Sergey Rachinskiy( 9 WC) and couple times in Ventspils under Fuglyev(14 WC)! Amazing lifters and really nice persons.I miss st.Petersburg elite camp this year, but try go next year ! This is perhaps only sport where worldchampions say: hello and shake your hands every time we meet in competetion.
