Erector Spinae




Grabbed this photo( above) from Dr Hatfields facebook page, where the discussion is whose back this belongs to. I believe it is David Rigert the Olympic Champion Olympic lifter from the 70's and 80's, Dr Squat isnt sure. Whoever it is has some SERIOUS pulling power.

Now I'm ready to go train snatches and hi pulls,lol!

Yes, it's Rigert in the top photo; not in the lower photo, though.

Rigert had, in my opinion, the most impressive traps of any competitive lifter, and Gennadi Ivanchenko (lightheavy ) had the most impressive erector spinae.

More press mistakes from today

 1) Gotta engage the rhomboids when setting the low rack position.Lock in 2) Elbows up is crucial 3) 'Straight  up' on the unracking...
