625x2 squat/belt and knee wraps, great angle

This is a great angle to see how the back squat truly is a back/hip movement. Note how the bar travels in a perfectly straight up and down line and he keeps it over his heel the whole time.He could lock his knees out better at the start but this really shows how much hip flexion is needed to be "under" the weight in the barbell power squat, yet he still keeps a solid lumbar curve. great squat!

WOW! That is just SICK!

Wish I had the structure to do that stuff.....back doesn't like the ultra heavy loading!

Fun to watch though!!!!

I resemble that remark - post back surgery etc... and loading my back just fine thank you ;)

That is some great squatting.

brett,

hopefully you will be the exception. My back felt fine for the first 15 years....

190 x 1 x 12, 210/225 static holds, 24 kg goblet squats, floor pushups 30, 20

This went VERY well almost all reps identical. Realized I get better drive AND minimize shoulder stress if I unrack it with more weight on ...
