Why am I not surprised? The academics are always light years behind the athletes. We evolved eating fats, it makes no sense they would cause heart disease.

Completely agree, we did no evolve eating overprosseced, chemically filled, psuedo-foods ( like McDonalds ). Inuit who live the traditional way people eat nothing but meat, heart disease and cancer are almost non-existant in them.
Yeah, Art Devaney and the Paleo guys are right on target.People are stupid. and science aint far behind. at least nutrition and exercise science. those heart surgeons are pretty good.lol.
I've always had great results with clients eating more protein (meats), lots of EFA's (Flax oil and Fish oil) and fresh unprocessed vegetables. Great post!
